Heartland Arts

I would like to assert that the way our national culture has defined regions of our country is not exemplary of the cultural regions within it. my understanding of these true cultural boundaries is not holistic. however, I can speak with some certainty on the topic of the region in which i have lived in my entire life. This region i would call The Great Plains Region of the Heartland of The United States. This Region, I would call, The Heart land includes The Midwest, The Plains and the Rocky Mountain Regions. By Plains States, I am referring to North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma. America’s Heartland is at the beginning of a cultural renaissance. I swear by this statement, in terms of geographic zones this area holds heavy roles in our countries self sufficiency. exodus of the coastal metropolitan areas is already at hand and new innovations in architecture and transportation have appropriate space to work with here. In the midst of this physical revolution over the next few decades there will also be Metaphysical one. A revolution of culture wherein the independent Identity of “middle amercia” will form.
